Dark Magi (The Republic Chronicles Book 1) By: Joanna White

Dark Magi. A book of love, redemption, pain, and heartbreak. This book follows the sufferings of a prince by the name of kryen, who because of his fathers cruelty is forced to kill people he once called friends.  As you read you can't help but cry along with Kryen as he is forced to endure more and more suffering inflicted by his father the king. Its definitely a book you won't want to miss.

 
I loved how detailed it was, and how perfectly the author transitioned from chapter to chapter as if she were cutting butter. Joanna did a amazing job of drawing the readers in, and holding their attention throughout the entire story. You can truly see the dedication and long hours the author put in to making this beautiful work of art. 

As for  the rating I give this book 4 1/2 stars as the grammar could use some work but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the story. definitely a book worth reading.
